Mexico City
Saw a zoo of Mexican Fauna in Tuxtla Guiterrez. Chachalacas and Agoutis running around. Then to Mexico City which we enjoyed as is easy to get around on the Metro and features fantastic Museums: Museo nacional de antropologĂa de MĂ©xico (archaeological exhibits for the prehispanic civilisations and also of Mexico's modern ethnic groups) and the Templo Mayor Museum

We stayed at the cheap, clean and friendly Mexico City Hostel and took trips to Amecameca to see Popacatapetl, Pachuca to see the El Chico Park and to Teotijuacan to see the site of the ancient city. The old central part of Mexico city features many grand buildings on shifting ground. We made it to a table at the busy Cafe el popular by joining with an Austrian couple also queueing. Hallo Gunther u. Bernie.

2 days in L.A. were filled thanks to the local knowledge of Nic who made sure we saw every major beach. We all dined with Cathy and Justin at the Cheesecake factory which gave us the sensation of not being capable of eating more cheesecake. Thanks folks.
