German Summary 1
users.tpg.com.au/jsteel/sommer is the address for the photos from the German trip. There are 178 of them so make some coffee and maybe some cake too. The shots feature the Rheingau area, Cologne, Niedersachsen, Berlin, Potsdam, Rügen, Hamburg (featuring Jim Goroll's photography), Prague, Munich, Oberstdorf, Freiburg and Thailand

On the day we left we were packing when Jackie realized our 15:45 departure was a departure from Sydney. Then there was a rush of sorts. Hannah had to make another trip to the aiport that day to collect mum after taking us. Thanks Hannah. Those screens on the back of the seats hold everyone mesmerised and Qantas have a trivia game!!. In Frankfurt we stayed at the Hotel Diplomat on Ostend Str which is good and has a good Frühstück (breakfast). From Frankfurt we looked at Wiesbaden and Geisenheim. The shots of the vineyards and that nice lunch are in Johannisberg right next to Geisenheim
In Rüdesheim we stayed at a place we found via the tourist office. A room let by a couple in the town.
